The Department of Seine-Saint-Denis has included the objective of creating public bathing sites in its 2018-2024 investment plan. This objective is part of an approach to preserving its natural spaces and developing the range of bathing facilities on offer in the region.
The Parc de la Bergère site, fed by the Ourcq Canal in Bobigny and managed by the Département, is one of three sites selected to install ecological bathing facilities.
The project was abandoned by the project owner in 2024.
