LA TONTOUTA – NOUMEA AIRPORT
Approaching the airport from the ground is a visual adventure. It evokes an initiatory journey: a veritable esplanade-garden, the airport parking lot merges with the plant landscapes of the Grande Ile. Combined with the airside gardens and interior patios, it forms an ensemble with the built-up areas, in which architecture and landscape work closely together to stage the terminal’s new identity. A large ring road serves the various parking lots and provides direct access to the terminal.
Parking spaces are arranged on either side of a central link, the axis of which is marked by a double line of columnar palms.
