CALTEX YEOSU

In the heart of Yeosu town, the Caltex project covers a vast area of untamed vegetation on the coastline between the existing town center and the Ungchon urban development zone. The Caltex company, which owns the land, wanted to launch a major competition to develop the area, including a concert hall, observatory, information center and museum.

This program is an opportunity to develop a general concept for a recreational and cultural landscape park in the heart of the urban area, designed as a vast place to breathe, relax and enjoy a cultural walk, preserving and enhancing the natural features of the site between hill and sea.
