DEVELOPMENT OF THE COEUR VERT FAMILIAL PARK – SAINT-DENIS DE LA RÉUNION
The Cœur Vert Familial is a 35-hectare green breathing space in the heart of Saint-Denis, corresponding in part to the original route of the Ravine Patates à Durand, now canalized.– Watch the film –
The park’s current project involves highlighting its assets and history, with the aim of transforming it into a unitary sports and leisure park:
- Integration of themed gardens (shadow garden, water garden, memory garden)
- Affirming the park’s link with the coast and ocean,
- Restoration of its plant, hydraulic, historical and geographical heritage,
- The affirmation of its unitary character,
- Integration of specific sports and leisure facilities linked by a coherent layout extrapolating the site’s liabilities.
- The creation of signage,
- Use of low-water consumption plant species.
Signes designed the layout of the park and the architecture of the kiosks, rondavelles and footbridge.
