DEVELOPMENT OF A PLANT THEME PARK IN PENGSHAN

Located around 55 km south of Chengdu, the project is part of a changing agricultural landscape.

The park is being developed in three phases, comprising a first, already developed section, an area of existing fish ponds and a vast area of crops and woodland along the Tongqu River.

The project aims to transform this complex into a theme park dedicated to plants, agriculture and the discovery of life. It combines the requalification of the existing first phase, marked by highly mineral landscaping, with the design of future extensions integrating agricultural landscapes, aquatic environments and wooded areas.

The concept is to create a playful, educational and ecological park, inspired by the spirit of contemporary carnivals, combining leisure, culture and events. The layout is organized around a central axis animated by attractions and five themed gardens associated with the five senses, inviting visitors to experience nature through observation, interaction and imagination.

By combining agriculture, science, art and technology, the project is developing a place of discovery and experimentation aimed in particular at families and young audiences, encouraging a sensitive and participative approach to the plant world.
