EXTENSION OF TRAM-TRAIN LINES

An infrastructure like the Tram-train requires both a functional and a geographical identity. In the choices that will lead to a definitive route, the landscape must be taken into account in its dynamics, i.e. in the future. In terms of development, the focus today is on quality, both in terms of coastal town centers and the public spaces linked to them. It seems necessary to link the route to these objectives, in other words, to the redevelopment of coastal urban centers and waterfronts. The geographical identity of the Tram-train should therefore be that of a coastal rail network: “le Tram-train de la Côte”.
