REQUALIFICATION OF PUBLIC SPACES IN THE DANTON DISTRICT – LE HAVRE

The Quartier Danton requalification project is a vast operation to reclaim public spaces (Place Danton, Rue Raspail, Square Holker, new Rue Bonnivet, etc.), to improve the living environment for residents, meet the environmental challenges of waterproofing and revegetation, offer greater opportunities for social interaction, and support the creation of new housing and facilities. The assignment also includes drawing up a charter of public space typologies: streets, squares, the main square… and the creation of a shared garden at the heart of the central public space.
