SCOT DU GRAND SUD

The study is set against a backdrop of demographic growth, questions about the economic identity of Reunion and the south, Reunion’s place (tourism or otherwise) on the international stage, and growing environmental awareness… All these issues have an impact on the landscape and need to be analyzed to highlight the real identity of the South.

The Grand’s many assets make it an exemplar among Réunion’s micro-regions, and one of the island’s tourist attractions.

The development of the Grand Sud will depend on the enhancement of its natural areas and the integration of its urbanization into these areas.
