ZAC DES LOUVRESSE, CRISTAL PROJECT – GENNEVILLIERS

The project is part of the ZAC des Louvresses business park along the A86 freeway, designed as a 30-hectare landscaped campus. The Cristal operation is an office complex forming a 20,650 m² building block, with an internal space for THALES Communication’s social activities and temporary exhibitions.

The landscaping project is a vast aquatic garden occupying most of the heart of the block. Made up of tiered water features, this garden combines environmental and technical functions, as it receives all the site’s rainwater and treats it using phytoremediation. Waterfalls interspersed with garden islands highlight the different levels of the water bodies. The islands reconstitute different wetland biotopes thanks to their variable water level, and are accessible by footbridges.

The combination of island vegetation and water features creates a number of mirror effects, which combine with the reflection of the facades to create multiple scales in the interior space.
