ROUTE DES TAMARINS – LA REUNION
The Route des Tamarins between St Gilles and Etang Salé on the west coast of Reunion Island crosses a complex geography cut by numerous ravines. The route was chosen primarily on the basis of landscape criteria, firstly to minimize the impact of earthworks, and secondly to enhance views from the road. In addition to the road’s utilitarian function as a link, it also serves as a means of discovering the landscapes of the west coast, through the creation of belvedere areas at the interchanges. Signes is involved in engineering studies for route insertion, earthworks, planting and summary plans.
The missions of SIGNES PAYSAGES :
- Landscape diagnosis
- Plot insertion
- Aesthetic assistance for earthworks
- Landscape integration
