An award-winning project!

The City of Pau has been named winner for the development of public spaces in the Quartier de la Monnaie!
Every 2 years, this national competition, organized by“Sites & Cités Remarquables de France” and the“Fédération Patrimoine-Environnement” (Heritage-Environment Federation), honors local authorities that carry out exemplary operations to redevelop their city entrances.
In particular, the jury selected: greening and the fight against heat islands, with the creation of 3 new gardens; accessibility of public spaces, traffic calming and the promotion of active modes of transport; heritage and tourism enhancement.

The SIGNES, ARTELIA, QUARTIERS LUMIERES and ISR teams are proud to have designed this major project. Thank you to the City of Pau for placing your trust in us. It’s been a real pleasure to work on renewing the public space for its residents, and highlighting the exceptional historical heritage around the Château de Pau!
